Left Melbourne at 2300 on Qatar airlines-beautiful food and service-14 hour flight but slept with aid of drugs and arrived in Doha at 8am-spent time in the Privilege lounge and left Doha for Geneva at 0850-6 hour flight.
We were supposed to get out on French side but nubed it and ended up in Switzerland-fortunately no big deal crossing back to France-very simple to organise Peugeot pick up. TomTom navigated us thru Geneva to Champery-some problems finding La Choufrelle but saw Albert waving at us from his humble abode(see fotos)
Great dinner but totally rooted.
30/6-Albert drove me down to village to pick up bread for breakfast-later walked with R to village to buy supplies and walking poles.
Spent the afternoon walking up the Croix de Culet-very steep and occasionally dangerous-beers at the top and funicular down
