A tearful farewell to Albert et al from Champery-drive to Morzine to drive the Tour de F stage-stop for cheese and baguette at Abondance-follow course up the Col de Colombier and Col de Aravis but too many hairpin bends on narrow roads dodging cyclists and trucks.
Head for St Gervais leave walking gear and then drive to Chamonix and leave excess luggage and car-train back to St Gervais but cannot find the town-turns out it is about 10K from railway station.
